V6 Air Filter Replacement

Background:
The air filter should be changed as part of the [[scheduled maintenance]]. A new filter will help performance and fuel efficiency.
Tools:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Small flathead screwdriver
Parts:
- New Air filter
- Remove Intake piping
- Remove Intake Tube using a Phillips (1), Wire Connectors (2,3) ,hose(4) and Clips(5)
- To remove Connector 2 push down on the small wire and pull away
- To remove MAF wire harness (3) insert a small screw driver between the clip and the clip housing and pull away from the MAF
- To disconnect the hose (4) pull straight down ( no trick to it)
- The upper housing should be free now, Move the wire harness out of the way and remove the housing, place in a safe area.
- Before you insert the new filter clean the large derbies screen located inside the empty housing.
*unscrew the retaining screw and lift straight up. Clean with compressed air or a good knock on something
- Reinsert the derbies Screen and new filter
- Reassemble is the in reverse order
